Summary

Lucia Wakefield has hardly been able to control her power of shifting into someone else’s body. However her talk with the mysterious new lady in town, who seems to know more than Lucia does, has given her hope of finding out more about what she is capable of. As she digs deeper into the features of the power she possesses, she does not know that she is soon standing next to danger.

Now that Lucia’s best friend Alison Decker’s secret crush on Lucia’s twin brother is no longer a secret, Alison turns to blame Lucia. With the town wrapped up in gossip, Lucia finds herself shrinking into the corner and wondering about the safety of her own secret. At the semi-prom, the lonely looking Lucia is asked for a dance by a new face in town that every girl has the hots for. With jealousy of Lucia’s life which seems perfect in Alison’s eyes, she blurts out Lucia’s ability and soon the news spreads out, having people start tracking Lucia down.
